Boditrax

Boditrax body composition and movement tracking

Often when people first come to a gym they have goals to lose weight, build muscle or to just to become healthier. Whilst these are great starting points, what do they actually mean for your body? The Boditrax monitor is a professional medical device, which provides body composition and movement tracking data; giving your workout real focus and results.

Now, at Empire Gym & Studios we are able to offer our members access to the Boditrax scan and to get over 20 body stats from baseline and composition data, to get to the real story as to what is going on inside.

Analysis includes:

  • Baseline: Age, Height, Weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), Ideal Body Weight and Impendance.
  • Composition: Fat percentage & mass, Muscle percentage & mass, Water percentage & mass and Bone percentage & mass.
  • Results: Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), Baal Metabolic Score, Muscle Score, Visceral Fat Rating, Degree of Obesity, Metabolic Age and Physique Rating.

Boditrax give you an insight into what is going on inside you: such as hydration levels and amount of fat around vital organs (visceral fat). It also give you 'segmental' readings, which gives you results for five body segments, so you can really see where the isolated areas for improvement are and your instructor can help you work on these specific areas via training and lifestyle advice.

All your results are 'in the cloud', under your own account, where you can analyse your results and take action, with guidance from our expert instructors.

This is the latest in body composition tracking, bring an extra layer to your membership benefits at Empire Gym & Studio.

All members can book an appointment at the gym desk for an initial consultation and are entitled to a review every 6 weeks.

This analysis is also open to non-members at a cost of £15 per session (introductory price) .
